START

There are 12 mini-puzzles that were released within a month. The task is to sweep the tokens in the wallet by solving the mini-puzzles in each image. Each image contains a word which is part of the 12-word mnemonic seed.

Note: ENJIN uses BIP39 for its mnemonics words.

Inside The Puzzle

Here are the 12 mini-puzzles to solve to get a seed.

Mini-puzzle 01 — Binary

This was fairly easy to decipher. An online Binary to Text converter was used in deciphering the 0 and 1 into letters.

Link to the tool: https://www.rapidtables.com/convert/number/binary-to-ascii.html

Converting the binaries and adding the “it seems that” to the converted texts resulted to a phrase…

“it seems that if it\’s real, it won\’t burn.”

So, what is real that doesn’t burn? Then we remembered the popular saying “Liar Liar pants on fire!” which implies that pants or jeans won’t burn!

Seed Phrase: jeans

Mini-puzzle 02— Clock and Wheel

There are 3 things in this puzzle — the wheel and clock, the binary at the bottom and the letters(i,k,y,j). Decoding the binary gave “HELLO” but it’s obvious it’s not the word.

The answer for this is quite simple. The letters i, k, y and j are the outer wheel and the corresponding letters on the inner wheel is the answer. So, i-k-y-j is SUIT.

Seed Phrase: suit

Mini-puzzle 03— Dialogue

At first, it seemed like it is very hard to solve. And it may looked like a poem at first but taking a second look will reveal this is a dialogue by Daisy Domergue from “Quentin Tarentino The Hateful Eight Jones at Botany Bay”.

But taking a look at it again, there were letters which font is different from the others(in red boxes). The letters are A B E L C.

And we unscrambled the letters to form CABLE, a Bip39 valid seed.

Seed Phrase: cable

Mini-puzzle 04— Dark

The first thing that can be noticed are the flipped words that says “ the words is not so well hidden as that”.

Then we saw something that looked like a Morse code at the bottom. So we turned the brightness up and saw this.

The Morse code is -.. .. . - that translates to DIET, another valid seed.

Seed Phrase: diet

Mini-puzzle 05— Singular

This one looks hard but is actually easy. There are 2 things to note for — the words that are in Latin at the center and the phrase “The answer is in the singular” at the upper left corner of the image.

There are seven words at the center. These are Mercurium, Aurum, Argentum, Stannum, Plumbum, Ferrum and AES. Google search revealed they are all Latin names of elements in the Periodic Table except for ‘AES’ and Mercurium. But we just assumed, Mercurium is for Mercury(Hg).

Aurum → Au → Gold
Argentum → Ag → Silver
Stannum → Sn → Tin
Plumbum → Pb → Lead
Ferrum → Fe → Iron
Mercurium/Hydrargyrum → Hg → Mercury

The symbols didn’t make any sense and we noticed all of these elements are Metals. Then we also knew that the answer is a singular so it’s METAL.

Seed Phrase: metal

Mini-puzzle 06 — Mailbox

There are 4 mailboxes in the image and the word MAIL is a valid seed word. But surely, there was more to it, then we saw that there are scattered and hidden letters on the image(in red circles).

These are Y R A D then we unscrambled it into YARD.

Seed Phrase: yard

Mini-puzzle 07— Milky way

There is one thing emphasized in the image — galaxy. It was tricky letting us think that it is really the seed phrase.

Not until we zoomed-in in the galaxy in the image. And we saw a link that led us to a wixsite — https://terychero.wixsite.com/monsite

In the website, there is an ANSWER menu tab. Clicking it, we saw…

6–9–14–5 is F-I-N-E in the AZ123 cipher method.

Seed Phrase: fine

Mini-puzzle 08— Cartoon?

At first, we thought the cartoon faces are the clue to the word but there’s nothing to it really.

We then proceeded using Reverse-Image search and the result was a 2013 film “Pain and Gain”. Pain isn’t in the wordlist so we were positive the seed is “gain”.

Seed Phrase: gain

Mini-puzzle 09 — Monster Video

Mini-puzzle 09 is a short video. In the video, we can hear the word monster, call 911 and something being spelled out. If we listen carefully, the spelled out letters are P I G.

Seed Phrase: pig

Mini-puzzle 10— Quote

There are a lot of words in the image that are valid words for the mnemonic but one word stands out, quote. It was a good guess but sadly it was not the seed word.

Reading the quote again revealed something, there are words that are wrongly spelled(in red circles). Obviously, these were meant so we replaced the letters that made the words spelled wrong with the correct letters.

The letters are R E K C O T and unscrambling it gave ROCKET.

Seed Phrase: rocket

Mini-puzzle 11 — Imagine by John Lennon

Here are the 6 hints from this image:
1. Imagine John Lennon
2. 5th paragraph, 21th letter
3. 3th paragraph, 3th line, 12th letter
4. 36th letter
5. 6th paragraph, second line, second letter
6. first paragraph, 3 line, 3th word, first letter

By using the clues above on the lyrics of the song Imagine by John Lennon, we got H O Y U T. And unscrambling it, we got YOUTH.

Seed Phrase: youth

Mini-puzzle 12 — Thanks Everyone

There are 3 flipped phrases in the image. These are…

“THANKS EVERYONE FOR YOUR PARTICIPATION GOOD LUCK”
“EVERYTHING GOING ON HERE”
And a link → https://thkuss20.wixsite.com/monsite

Obviously, the hint here is the link. In the website, there are 3 things present. These are the puzzle images, a Spotify widget and menu tabs.

The Spotify widget placed on the website is playing the classical “Tchaikovsky:The Nutcracker, Op 71, Act 2:No. 13 The Waltz of the Flowers” which may trick us to think flower is the seed word. But, it’s not.

There were 5 menu tabs labeled N1, N2, N3, N4 and N5 which may also tricked us that the images are the N1 to N5 puzzle images until the tabs are clicked and per tab there is an image of an animal. The animals are Snake, Turtle, Owl, Vulture and Elephant. We took the first letter of each and formed a word — STOVE.

Seed Phrase: stove

SOLUTION

jeans suit cable diet metal yard fine gain pig rocket youth stove

This is the 12-seed of the wallet containing the prizes. Order was not a problem here because every image is labeled and numbered.
